Â鶹´«Ã½ and Corporate Traffic Logistics expand partnership to enhance experience for student athletes

Â鶹´«Ã½ Athletics is expanding its partnership with Corporate Traffic Logistics to enhance the experience for all North Florida student athletes, including those within the men’s and women’s soccer and track and field programs.

This five-year agreement includes exclusive naming rights of the playing surface at Hodges Stadium, which will be renamed “Corporate Traffic Logistics Field at Hodges Stadium.”

“Â鶹´«Ã½ is grateful for the longtime support from Corporate Traffic Logistics,” said Interim President Angela Garcia Falconetti. “We are proud to continue to work with a company that consistently supports our students, from student-athletes to logistics majors, through gifts, internships and hiring graduates.”

Corporate Logistics, a family-owned and operated logistics company based in Jacksonville for over 30 years, has also been named the preferred logistics partner of Â鶹´«Ã½ Athletics. In addition, the agreement includes prominent signage throughout Hodges Stadium, as well as logo visibility at Harmon Stadium, the Â鶹´«Ã½ Arena and the Â鶹´«Ã½ Softball Complex.

“Success in collegiate athletics is built on strong partnerships and meaningful community support,” said Nick Morrow, Â鶹´«Ã½ vice president of intercollegiate athletics. “Corporate Traffic has been an incredible example of that commitment for more than 15 years, and this transformational investment takes our shared vision to a new level. Their continued engagement helps elevate the experience of our student‑athletes while strengthening Â鶹´«Ã½’s connection to the Jacksonville community.”

Corporate Traffic Logistics has partnered with Â鶹´«Ã½ through student engagement, career development, hiring graduates and support of Â鶹´«Ã½ Athletics.

The company has attended 29 Â鶹´«Ã½ Career Fairs since 2023, making them one of Â鶹´«Ã½’s most engaged employers. They have hired at least 178 interns from Â鶹´«Ã½ over the last 15 years, being one of Â鶹´«Ã½’s most consistent internship partners. Last week, Â鶹´«Ã½ hosted “Corporate Traffic Day” at Market Days for the third consecutive year and saw at least 400 students meet with representatives to discuss internships and job opportunities.

In addition, Corporate Traffic Logistics has employed numerous Â鶹´«Ã½ graduates, including former student-athletes who have successfully transitioned from competition to careers in the logistics industry. Currently, at least 20 employees at Corporate Traffic’s Jacksonville headquarters are Â鶹´«Ã½ graduates, including seven former student-athletes who competed on the men’s soccer team.

“We are incredibly excited to expand our partnership with Â鶹´«Ã½ Athletics,” said Chris Cline, president of Corporate Traffic Logistics. “We’ve built a strong foundation with the university—working with students, hiring graduates and supporting student-athletes as they transition into their professional careers. Expanding that relationship in such a meaningful way is something we’re extremely proud of.”

Corporate Traffic has been an active partner and sponsor of numerous academic and athletic programs, including:

  • Serving as a multi-year title sponsorship of the Â鶹´«Ã½ Business Career Fair in both the spring and fall,
  • Developing the Â鶹´«Ã½ Student-Athlete Scholarship Program supporting four business students, and
  • Launching an NIL program in 2022 that has featured more than 20 student-athletes across nearly all men’s and women’s sports.

The investment from Corporate Traffic Logistics in Hodges Stadium follows recent enhancements to the facility that includes support from the Estate of Kernan R. Hodges and from the City of Jacksonville.
