Oberdorfer-Rasche Family Endowed Scholarship

Purpose

The purpose of the award is to provide scholarship funding for Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students.

Criteria

The Donor has determined that eligible students must:
  • meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the Âé¶¹´«Ã½,
  • reside in Florida for tuition purposes,
  • declare a major in History, with preference to applicants who also have a minor in Gender Studies,
  • demonstrate a GPA of 3.0 or better,
  • be a junior or senior at the time of the award,
  • complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and
  • demonstrate financial need as defined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid.

Student Responsibility 

Students awarded this scholarship must also agree to:

  • enroll full-time with at least 12 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters,
  • maintain a cumulative Âé¶¹´«Ã½ GPA of at least 3.0,
  • comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus,
  • consent to release grades to the Division of Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the Donor,
  • file FAFSA form with the federal government each year, and
  • remain in good standing as a student.
