Oberdorfer-Rasche Family Endowed Scholarship
Purpose
The purpose of the award is to provide scholarship funding for Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students.
Criteria
The Donor has determined that eligible students must:- meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the Âé¶¹´«Ã½,
- reside in Florida for tuition purposes,
- declare a major in History, with preference to applicants who also have a minor in Gender Studies,
- demonstrate a GPA of 3.0 or better,
- be a junior or senior at the time of the award,
- complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and
- demonstrate financial need as defined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid.
Student Responsibility
Students awarded this scholarship must also agree to:
- enroll full-time with at least 12 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters,
- maintain a cumulative Âé¶¹´«Ã½ GPA of at least 3.0,
- comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus,
- consent to release grades to the Division of Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the Donor,
- file FAFSA form with the federal government each year, and
- remain in good standing as a student.
