Goelz Family Scholarship

Purpose

The purpose of the gift is to provide scholarship funding for Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students.

Selection Criteria 

  1.  Students eligible for such scholarships must: 
    • Meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the Âé¶¹´«Ã½
    • Enroll in the College of Arts and Sciences’ Behavioral Neuroscience degree program with a minimum of 12 credit hours in the Fall and 12 credit hours in the Spring
    • Reside in Florida for tuition purposes
    • Earn a minimum Âé¶¹´«Ã½ or transfer GPA of 3.0
    • Demonstrate financial need as defined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid
    • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
    • Preference is given to students engaged in trauma and intervention-related research
  2. Students awarded this scholarship must also agree to:
    • Enroll full-time with at least 12 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters
    • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0,
    • Comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus
    • Consent to release grades to the Division of Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the Donors

    • File FAFSA form with the federal government each year
    • Remain in good standing as a student
