FSCJ Connect Program

Florida State College at Jacksonville and the Â鶹´«Ã½ have joined forces to make your college journey smoother, smarter, and more connected through the Connect Program.

From your first day at FSCJ, you’ll be on a clear path to Â鶹´«Ã½ — with expert guidance, purposeful planning, and behind-the-scenes support to make your transfer stress-free. No more wondering what classes to take or how to make the leap — we’ve got your back.

Whether you're aiming for a bachelor’s degree or just want to keep your momentum going, Connect helps you stay on track and thrive on both campuses.

It's easy to get started

  • How to Connect to Â鶹´«Ã½

    There are a few ways to enter the Connect program, and each is fairly easy.

    • During the application process (or even once admitted), simply declare your intent on the FSCJ application, website or intent form.
    • If, during the application process at Â鶹´«Ã½, your application is deferred or placed on hold, a counselor from the Transfer Student Services office might suggest this program and help you to apply.

    With you in mind, we have designed the program to make sure you have every advantage. Once you have declared your intention to transfer to Â鶹´«Ã½ and participate in Connect:

    • FSCJ has a full-time advisor at each of its campuses to aid in your academic transition to Â鶹´«Ã½
    • Â鶹´«Ã½ will share the application, all deadlines, advising information and any program-related information with you so you can become an Osprey
    • Â鶹´«Ã½ will provide access to academic advisors to ensure success in the classroom and beyond
  • Connect to Â鶹´«Ã½ Checklist
    • Apply for admission to Â鶹´«Ã½ or FSCJ
    • Talk to an academic advisor about possible paths to make your goals a reality
    • Complete intent form in-person or online
    • Meet regularly with advisors at FSCJ to ensure everything is lined up for a smooth connection to Â鶹´«Ã½
    • Take a campus tour at Â鶹´«Ã½
    • Meet with Â鶹´«Ã½'s Transfer Student Services counselor
    • Stay on top of your coursework
    • Meet with faculty members often
    • Develop good study habits
    • Learn time management skills
    • Learn to SWOOP!
